I run Avon Distanzia's on my TDM. The front is a rear tyre run backwards. Ive done this for over 90,000 ks and on all manner of roads and trails loaded or light without any trouble and in all manner of weather conditions from hot sand to iced up roads.
Hills flats straights bendy bits the lot.

Iv had more than enough opportunity to come unstuck and that's just not happened.

It wont turn your bike into the devil or throw you into every oncoming car nor will it try to bite every passer buy.

And I get huge mileage out of the fronts. 35 to 38,000 Ks. That shit over any road tyre.
