I absolutely LOVE that dyno test video. Big props to them, except for one thing. Anyone who considers 6k rpm on the 250 as "mid-range" makes me wonder a bit...or a lot. As the owner of an '09, I can tell you that <7k is bottom end, 7-10k is mid-range, and 10-redline is the top end. That said, the 6k figure is a nice reference point for pulling away from traffic in those first couple of seconds after the light turns green, or how much it will pull from a relaxed, steady-state cruising speed.
The whole picture looks very promising - a bigger upgrade than I was expecting, but I'm still waiting to see how the rumored CBR500 turns out.
