Almost lost my melon on the way home from work on Friday. It started as a rough day in the rain and a visit from officer friendly. I still made it on time. On the way home my Amish neighbor forgot to take the fence down that was across the road to move his cows. No flags, just a single strand across a dirt road. Needless to say I didn’t see it until it was on me. Fortunately it hit just under my fender and only scratched my right fork and side panel. Another foot and a half and my melon would have been lying on the road next to my bike! All is well and my wife and kids still have me!!
