OK, last post on this subject...
I had a chance to use the DDM Tuning HID light this past weekend. I put about 300 miles on the bike, mostly in the mountains on jeep roads, but also a transit of about 70 miles. No problems with the HID system. I also compared the brightness to two other 525s, with stock lights, and the DDM system is MUCH brighter.
When a resolute young fellow steps up to the great bully, the world, and takes him boldly by the beard, he is often surprised to find it comes off in his hand, and that it was only tied on to scare away the timid adventurers. -RWE
