Dirty Long Weekend 2012... photo summary...

17 starters... 620 km's + 7 special tests through gravel, sand, mud wind and rain...

1 finisher...

Here he is...

With three Tuareg Rallye's and an Australian Safari on his resumé, as well as years of club MX competition under his belt, Micke is far from inexperienced. Co-incidentally it was his (younger) brother Åmme (Anders) who carted off the DLW perpetual HTFU trophy last year... but neithe of these guys are spring chickens any more... I guess sometimes experience combined with riding skill is more than a match for young bucks that bite of more than they can chew! So these two brothers have stamped their own brand of experience and authority on this annual event and made it their own!

Well done to Micke and all the others who participated in DLW 2012... here is a selection of some photo's from the weekend showing (a bit) of what we got up to...

PS: all photo's courtesy of my son - Deputy Drill Sargent - Camron (8 years old) who was along for the entire weekend... his fourth DLW navigation rally in a row!
