Anything less than a liter should be a triple or a v twin. Unless you want a race motor, the 4 cylinder is just to big. A nice 3 or 2 cylinder engine makes the bike so much more narrow. If the FZ8 was a triple or a V-twin I would have considered one, but another 4 cylinder, meh...

Hell, even small displacement cars run 3 cylinders instead of fours.



No parallel twins though
