Yes. Really. It's the idea that a little bitty engine can be made to split time into such accurate components. Unless you are lost at sea with a watch, tables and sextant and no radio with which to set your watch is accuracy REALLY critical.
But I tell you what, how accurate that watch is out of the box determines how much I like that watch. I have a watch I like everything about except that it runs way too far off - like a half minute a day. I find that just annoying.
