I wasn't aware that Japanese bikes even had dual-walled headers, I remember my GS1000 started bluing the exhaust after I rode it 'vigorously' in cool weather (dense air), maybe 10% ethanol crap gas has negative consequences as well, they weren't blue up until that point, the bike hadn't been ridden a whole lot for years before I got my hands on it.
