The main trouble in that skidplate is that you have to remove the 2 front bolts on the upper front which are also the front engine support ... this is not a safe method and could possibly damage the thread after several removals ... better have a separate plate holding the front of the skid plate permanently attached to those 2 bolts ...
BTW good idea to move the filter ... will investigate
