A salvage job to save whatever I could from the rusty hulk.
The sleeve cracked at the bottom as the piston was driven through.
I did save the jug and it's good fins though. (in case I ever need one)
Throughout that motor things were rusted and
deeply pitted.
Tranny, clutch ect...
Saved a bunch of pieces, didn't intend to worry about the crank, cases, ect...
It was 2008
Don't misunderstand...as I never had any intentions of rebuilding that motor!
There's other candidates with a better start.
It was in a down time while waiting for one that I
was rebuilding.
Since I was going at it, I figured I'd stay busy by pulling some of these apart.
