That depends on you. Not totally steep but quite a bunch of rocks in the trail on the way up. Typical of old mining roads that have suffered 100 years of rain n snow. Nice fun ride, tho. Wouldn't do it w/o knobs. That is true for most old mine roads around here. Always impressive to me is how steep they made these roads that were traveled by wagons powered by mules. Not to mention the switchbacks the wagons negotiated.
