The C-5 (not a chopper, but I have carried many in the cargo bay, so I claim exception!) has two APU's, both started by hydraulic accumulators.
Forget to start the hydraulics after starting the APU's and you would find yourself pumping...for a very long time, as you had to bring them up to about 2800 psi...
I only made that mistake once.
