I took a test ride today. The 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone in Glossy White is a gorgeous bike. I tested a 2011 V7 Classic last June, so there have been several months between the two rides. I think the 2013 is lighter, smoother engine and transmission, and more flickable. That may be due to the lighter bike. I have shot some video and am working on that. The new engine has slightly better fueling, and the better turn in (Stone) is due to the lighter wheels (the rest of the bike is the same in comparison terms in regards to weight). The tubed wheels of the Classic/Racer are heavy in comparison and most definitely affect the poorish handling characteristics of the bike.
