We come across the same group of 4x4's who'd stopped for a coffee break.....we helped push the Pajero out of the soft sand. If you look at the skyline you'll see a water tower...this is where there'll be another passport control at a military outpost.
You pass through some fine silty sand,climb a small rise to your RHS and get your details noted. After this we head on,again in the direction of Marabout.
