I agree, tracks have changed dramatically as bikes have changed and I realize the differences as I have been blessed to ride and race thru both generations.
The new bikes are phenominal in many ways, but there is an arguement to be made that older bikes like the Rick actually "handle" better than modern bikes in pure cornering. they were much lower CoG and built purely for cornering and handling.
Modern MX bikes have fantastic suspension, braking, power and even reliabilty, but handling could be debateable.

Better handling or not, I still want to own a Ricker before I die. That and a 380 Greeves
