Thanks for the comments. I have to laugh about the seat though. It is the one thing on the bike I did and then thought "holy crap, I really screwed the pooch on that..." If my toy fund had been healthier when I got it back from the upholstery guy, it would have been torn down and redone before it ever got used. The good news is it's surprisingly comfortable.
It looks better on the completed bike than I thought it would, but if I had it to do over again I wouldn't have made the bump so massive. The trim strip helped but I still think the seat kind of overwhelms the bike.
I think it looks fine. Yes, maybe it's a little bigger than visually "optimal", but to my eye, that just gives it a little extra character. It's no where near being obtrusive or unappealing. Nice job.
