I salute your skills, riding one of these beasts across the Simpson with all of the sand dunes is an amazing feat, especially as laden these bikes looked. I chickened out (wisely as my skill levels proved) and skirted the edge of the Simpson down via Dalhousie, Mt Hamilton and Oodnadatta. Frankly, sandy roads and tracks were enough of challenge!
