I have not tried any of these on, so I am not sure how comfortable they are to walk in. These boots are definitely lighter and are still very protective, so definitely good choices. I would still consider the benefits of a hinge- no MX boot will be more comfortable than a hinged one to walk in, though it comes with a steep price.
