I've got the Dakar pants and as was mentioned they are not wind and waterproof, but great for warm weather. I also have the Badlands Jacket and pants which have more armor and are Gore-Tex, but much more expensive. If you don't have to ride through rain the Dakar with an underlayer is a nice combo and currently an even greater price.
