Taken last month, this is a shot of my 1986 XR600R. I bought it new, in July of 1987. I'd been in the shop a few days before I bought this. They had one just like it on the floor, in addition to an '87 in the new white color scheme. I passed that day.

I got up Saturday to go look again. The salesman came over, and told me that he'd seen me in before. I said something like "I came in to look at that '86 you had, but it's gone. I don't know about the white ones". He told me that they had just finished putting together another '86. We went out back and they were just washing it off. I got on it, started it and listened to it idle for a little bit, them I bought it.

I like that could do with one now
