Unfortunatly with the OEM collar the best way is to remove the shock from the bike. I use a large channel lock plier to turn the collar rather than apply a shock load with a drift which will oval the OEM butter soft rings.
If it moves and it should not, duct tape it, if it does not move and it should WD40 it!
