I got them primarily for daytime conspicuity (I love big words). They are individually switched on one power source with a 5 amp fuse-they draw less than 2 amps each.
The floods suck at distance and the spots suck at spread. That is to be expected.

I might try that, I just dislike asymetrical looks. Might not be noticable on a bike so long as you run both at the same time.
