Got out for 9.8 miles of single track with the fast boys today. They disappeared. It was 37F and breezy. But something was amiss you see, because for the first time they were behind me instead of leading off the front. The look on their faces at the intersections was priceless. It feels good to be the one who has to wait. The one who is ready for more when they have their tongues dragging the ground after 9+ miles. I have not ridden with these guys in a while and man did it feel good to drop them like a bad habit. The goal was to get down to 205lbs from 218lbs by year's end. Two weeks ago the scale said 201lbs. Mission accomplished. Ready for more.
"If you are looking for the typical ride to a restaurant, eat tacos, hold the middle finger over the food, stop and take a picture of a gravel road type ride, you probably won't be interested." - dlrides
"A guy I know was the lead researcher for the University of Utah federally funded study of cellphone and texting use while driving. He found that your twice as dangerous as a drunk while using your cell phone and I think it was up to six times worse if the driver was texting."-dakardad
