I'm a *little* bigger than a lot of the guys out riding trails , I went to 14/52 gearing on mine, and it's still a little tall on some of the tight stuff. Even with me on it, the front wants to come up a LOT on the street.... gotta be careful about that.....but it runs good enough to get from home to trail head.
