Thats the way the Japanese do it on all those aluminum perimeter frames they build, probably all manufacturers tig where its visible spool gun where its not. That's a great idea the Urals are actually a bit on the small side, had one on an unfaired GL1100 with an auto battery in the trunk of the chair and a 17 pound Schnauzer and his stuff we didn't have huge amounts of extra room.DB
