I'll report back with a detailed comparison between the sands of North Africa and that of the Carolina Sandhills.  Seriously, although I'm excited about the opportunity to participate in a rally abroad, I'll miss the camaraderie and fun that is the Sandblast Rally (especially the "Rat" pack). For those on the fence, I urge you to jump in and enjoy the experience. You won't regret it.
