I tried several different weights of fork oil with no good results... then changed the springs to custom heavier ones and ran through the oil exercise again...
if you want to optimize the forks for your weight bike, having the valving customized is pretty much mandatory.
You can just send 'em in to a good fork re-builder to have that done, shortened, re-sprung and re-sealed all at once
