Dunlop rubber trials boots...
...does anyone know if they're still available? Or is there a rubber Dunlop boot that's very similar?
Of what kind of construction were they? Steel shanks? Steel toes? Insulation?
I'm a big fan of the "old days" of trials and have several of Don Morey's books about British and Spanish trials bikes. The Dunlop rubber trials boots were apparently the "hot set-up" in the days when real trials men wore waxed cotton "thornproofs" and big thumpers ruled the sections.
I thought a pair might be functional and something to try here in the swamps of Indiana.
Sorry for bringing back a four year old thread but I thought it would be better than starting a new one.
