I own a pair of the Crossfires. Absolutely the nicest off-road boot I have ever had. I had some A-Star Tech 10s and that inner boot was a deal breaker. I just went throught the Sidi line-up for a pair of touring boots to replace my barely worn TourMaster Solutions that seemingly shrank. My observations:
- GoreTex is king and worth its money if you tour or have any chance of riding in rain.
- The Crossfires fit vs the other Sidi line for ADV or touring is a bit more snug.
- The toebox for my foot was more than ample and I wear a size D width in most shoes.
Look also at the Dainese (sp?) boots as well if your store has them. I ended up with a pair of them and love them. I would love to find a brown oiled leather looking pair for my everyday commute. I feel I look like a goof ball in my riding boots walking around the office and my cuurent bike does not allow for extra shoe storage.
