I was out in the car today and found a good source of frozen meats, but hesitated about buying it in case we'd have to head home sooner than we wanted to, to stop it thawing. I stuck the meat into a plastic bin in the trunk, with a polar fleece cover, and my Tempe sitting on the meat. The whole rest of the day, I knew exactly what the temperature was in there, displayed on the gps on the dash, and recorded in the track.
