An amazing interview and a great day. That is one of the most brilliant results I have seen in Dakar, make no mistake that is historic - 2nd Brit to finish in top 10 on a stage in Dakar. Astounding.
What is even sweeter is he did it by being exactly who he is, taking his time whilst being fast to make sure he was doing things right - to the letter. Not getting caught up in the sound of the engine and instead recognising that he was 1km out due to the conditions and then building that into his own roadbook.
