I have to disagree, it is part of the dakar spirit to be able to work out a deal where someone will give you his good engine for your broken one. then with only manual tools to swap an engine and ride a special the next day with some great results. and all of that is after a days ride.
This deal was not struck on the ground between the guys.
As for the work he has done on his own with manual tools.
He has his franch moments and that 80's look but boy he is as part of the dakar as any other legend.
That been said i still like comas attitude more, he tends to be more latin.
