I was just on the phone with a friend from the prairies. We met on the ice roads and he might be willing to sell me his truck for next year. The big advantage there is knowing the previous owner - I know the truck, how he drives, how he looks after it, what he paid for it etc.
He's going to the dark side this year and hauling fuel for the first time so it'll be interesting to hear his comparisons between the two jobs.
