I've been drooling over a Cold Steel True Flight as a survival knife, but for less money you could get a much better sheath if you get a GI Tanto.

I'd just have to re-grind the ridiculous (and useless as a skinner) tanto edge down.

I googed the specs as I want a knife that will process (baton) camp/fire-wood too. The GI Tanto is only 1mm thinner than the True Flight.

Next $25 I got burning a hole in my pocket I'm gonna have one...

And I'm also planning on making knives. I burn wood all day and a knife tempered, treated and folded over like a Samurai Sword would actually be a byproduct of my wood stove...

Damn. Life can be cool when you can live it free.
