Had no issues crossing in to Honduras this afternoon, the entire process took < 30 minutes and cost $3.00. One official for importing my moto wanted to see 800 in local currency. I showed him I had it and that was that. Not certain what the objective was, maybe wanted to know I had gas money. Required copies of Passport, Registration, Drivers License. I was prepared and also gave them a copy of the Title.
Leaving Guatemala, had the Temp Vehicle permit stamped at customs and passport stamped 2 miles up the road. Originally I missed the customs stop, there is a checkpoint and tope but no signage. So at the immigration stop, they stamped my passport and had me go back to customs.
There are also money changes at both Guatemala and Honduras checkpoints. No banks or ATM's at the border. the Guatemal town prior to the border (10 minutes) has a bank.
I didn't notice any banks/atm's in Honduras as yet but there should be an ATM in Omoa. pictures later. Sure is green in Honduras.
