How come? What do you reckon the future issues might be? I'm asking because the car came w/ copious service/repair records and I'd like to see what's likely to fail that hasn't been already addressed.

I was referring to the $ that it'll cost you to get it up and running. Benzes are SPEN-DEE to fix. Stay away from the dealer for parts, etc.!

For example: the alternator for my S320 would've run me $6XX from the dealer. $250-ish online. $210 rebuilt locally. Get to know peach parts and a few other online places (that I don't have bookmarked on this computer)

After its fixed, there's not too many major issues that I know of. There's a reason German taxis are Benzes.
