Never shot .270, but I'll pick .308 from a bolt gun over .30-06 in a bolt gun every time. The '06 is about as enjoyable as 3" magnum shotgun shells to me.
There's something kinda sad about, the way that things have come to be. Desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety?
