What about running a breather filter Chris instead of feeding the dirty air back into the intake? This probably isn't for everyone, but it seems to make the most sense to me.
We do machine some plates without the breather hole for the "Do it yourself breather guys" and always have some in stock if someone wanted to use the K&N mini filter for that. We stopped advertising them because it was confusing customers that don't speak English (And there are many) on what it meant to "not have the hole" and slowing sales. We found that most of the guys that wanted to run the separate filter also were crafty enough to plug the hole.
