Mine is a 6' wide so about 12" short...my life story
I did not want to go wider for ease of towing and MPG but 8' wide sure does make it easier to fit bikes in. In general we bring 4 bikes to the track but I still can fit 2 more in the back of the truck so I'm good for now...
