We had a 1st gen mini and mini s we sold them while they were still under the warranty and service contracts.
Nothing major was wrong with the cars but a ton of little stuff. The wife still gives me a hard time for getting rid of the non s
The s version we had got shitty mpg like down in the low 20.
A rough ride on longer freeway trips they were a blast around town.
The moon roof when open was louder at 45 mpg then my S2000 is with the top down at 70.

If I was in the market for pocket rocket 2x2 I'd think about getting a mini again.


There is no way In hell I'd by a Fiat a car born from the loins of two of the worst major car companies of the last 20 years.
