I would check out
Davidson River Campground in Brevard. It is a National Forest Service campground and has plenty of room for a Toy Hauler. It is about 25 miles from Cruso on Highway 276. You will have a big smile on your face when you get to Cruso each morning. 276 is a GREAT ride going up over the Blue Ridge Crest and then back down to Cruso.
