Before I left Calgary (now a long time ago) they were just starting regular races. Chestemere had a couple races a winter and they were expanding to more local lakes.
When I tried it it was an absolute howl. traction was incredible yet the bike was easy and controllable to slide around. Like nice tacky yet fluffy clay....
My buddies in Calgary are always sending me links of their rides with the ADS group. Just to poke at me.
Makes me jealous, all mine does anymore is slab it.
