The immpession I got is that the new 800/900 adv is met to be ceaper then the 1190, this would mean tha the components won't be as good as on the 1190.
by the way, saturday I played around with the new R, sitting and moving it around and it feels lighte then the 990. it was standing next to a 990 adv dakar anf it looked smaller and thiner, especially the rear....
