I've seen ALOT of 'tough guys' fold like a cheap'o pup tent when things get 'tough'! Its a stunning thing to watch! The best/toughest man I've ever known, was the nicest, kindness, most supportive man you'd ever meet.....and he was with Manstein's army trying to reach Paulus at Stalingard (for those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, google it!!!!). BTW....he was my grandfather and I can only hope to be 1/2 the man he was!
Holy Shit! Your grandfather was part of the Battle of Stalingrad! I would love to hear those stories. Black Bear on me in Willows. ;)
