I know it would lose that cool anti-stall feature, but it would eliminate all the seized stepper motor problems.
Again, I'm not saying the stepper motor is so bad it needs to be removed. Just proposing a "what if" question.

AFAIK, the Tigger is not the only bike with a stepper motor - pretty sure it's standard now on FI bikes isn't it ?
Someone did come out with a manual idle adjuster for the 675 that I think should fit ?
