Wow, so getting it in the hole was the big unknown. We contemplated, planned, had plans a,b,c & d (d was give up )

We cut a piece of plywood to protect the curb. Put a moving blanket under it and well... within 5 minutes, it just fell into place! A truly amazing moment as we figured we would need 4 more guys and an engine hoist.

Took 2 guys pushing... it's heavy and one guy guiding.



Contractor doing his daily inspection:


Bike pushed right on! Yay, perfect fit of lift to concrete!


The metalworker comes tomorrow to measure for steel plates that we will use to close the gaps. Then I'll finish up the wiring and mount that to the wall.

Last thing is to rearrange the garage somehow because the current "new" setup blocks my attic access with the desk. might need to get a smaller desk/workbench but I really like this one.
