For my personal opinion the front springs on the multi were too soft. Seems to me the front springs of the KTM are firmer, together with the damping I like it better.
Since I'm still in brake-in period I'm keeping the revs under 6500 but it wouldn't surprise me that power is similar to that of the the multi (my multI had different exhaust and 160 bhp so was a little faster than avg. :-)) Power delivery however is completely different and much smoother than the Duc.
The Multi is a great bike if you're into sports bikes, it's fast, fun and great for high speed corners. De KTM 1190 R is a different story, complete different position, different wheels and different way of riding. For me it's the better bike because I like the upright riding position, the hight, the way the power is delivered and the potential to go off-road. For me it's the other side of the all road spectrum and a real adventure touring bike. It's also what I missed with my previous the BMW 1200 Adventure, the KTM is light, fast and fun and also has serious suspension :-)
