No pics as of yet, but I have a '76 frame and just bought a 1981 XR100 today for a parts bike. I plan to follow Hugemoth's example and use the XR forks and front wheel, and probably the swingarm and shocks as well.
This is certainly not gonna be a "pretty" Trail 90, but hopefully it will be a useful and durable one. My intention is to use a CT90 engine and convert it to ATC90 (no battery) electrics. I briefly considered using a Lifan engine, but the low range is kinda important to me. It doesn't have to be fast; I have an XR500R and a YZ490 for that.

ETA: Well, the swingarm is out. Not gonna work. The forks aren't as simple as I thought they would be either, but I can make that work.
