Cug is right, it is a Wilbers. I found the standard shock faded pretty quickly when pushed resulting in a bike that felt like it was running on spring pressure alone. So far, the Wilbers has been considerably better for the dirt, not only in terms of action and bottoming resistance but also it doesn't fade when hot. I also mounted the reservoir further back on the bike to distance it from the heat of the motor. Not sure if this helps or not but it can't hurt.
