I guess it comes down to preference.
I like FI for:
- No longer having to mess with a carbs (no more cleaning, no more ripped diaphragms or changing carb gaskets)
- Having no more choke (and so also no more possibility of a sticking choke)
- Easy tunability, without having to remove components.
- AND best for last, Perfect self tuning for high elevation or every kind of elevation.
I also regard FI systems as actually simpleler as carbs.
